Back to the grind for the new year with busy work weeks, but Miko has been having a wonderful week getting walks, eating plentiful amounts of cooked sweet potato, enjoying his vast collection of warm blankets and using his ramp to freely enjoy the heated bed pad on our bed.

I have been enjoying getting back to deal hunting at Grocery Outlet, my happy shopping place that is never crazy crowded.

And getting back to our new Amy’s Drive Thru with my mom for sweet potato fries and The Rachel salad. Other eats this week have been more large salads, Chana Masala veggie rice, and soy curl sautés.

Also enjoyed a tasty pasta dish using Big Mountain Foods Lion’s Mane Mushroom Crumble blended into marinara for a delicious combo.

And there was Thai tofu curry take-out Friday as we decided to avoid going to a crowded restaurant until Omicron settles down and a simple miso angel hair pasta veggie dish with plenty of leftovers for weekday lunches.
Boo on back to a long work week tomorrow, but it’s been a productive and relaxing weekend. I hope you have a great week energized by this positive list.

I still have yet to try the Lion’s Main Products. They sound interesting. Miko is so lucky to have you! I know it might be weird to some people that I often think of other people’s pets but I totally do…I always think of sweet Miko and hope all continues to go well!
You are so sweet! I think of other people’s furkids all the time and constantly loving their cute pictures on social media. :-)
Buffalo Plaid is definitely Miko’s color. But sweet potato? I’ve never heard of a dog that would eat sweet potato. But I did have a cat once who loved green beans.
Haha, yes and that’s one of his favorite blankets. Yes, he loves sweet potato, broccoli, and cauliflower. He goes through about a bag of sweet potatoes a week since I mash them into his dinner and his pill mash mixture. :-)
Amazing Grocery Outlet finds! I’m so curious to try those new eggs but haven’t seen them anywhere yet. Did you give them a shot? I’d love to hear more reviews!
Yes, they are very close to Just Egg cooking with a slightly different texture,
