Wintery Eats for the List

December 4, 2022 by christine

It has been a beautiful chilly week with rain, something we need lots of. The geese at my job do not seem to mind, they love to get right into people’s path and growl if they get too close walking between buildings. I need to try that at Costco. We spent a lot of time cleaning up leaves last weekend and need to do it again after the storms this week, lol.

I have been trying to get back to a healthier place this week, but that is tough with the holiday celebrating. There have been simple salads and soy curl sautés.

And tofu stir fries with steamed squash and simple soy curl turmeric noodle soup.

But also spicy Thai takeout and gorgeous dishes from Zest Kitchen for lunch multiple times this week, I don’t think I could ever get tired of the Autumn Harvest bowl.

And a lunch date with Ron at Pho Vegan Asian Cuisine where steamy noodles are always a welcome comfort food.

Where did the weekend go? Back to it tomorrow morning, but lets start with positives on the list.

  • Working effectively when you’re overwhelmed.
  • 25 accidently vegan cookies.
  • Vegan perfume gift guide.
  • Best vegan nuggets and recipes to make your own.
  • How a vegan lifestyle helps the environment.
  • Vegan beauty gifts.
  • More vegan gift ideas.
  • Funniest vegan commercials.
  • Vegan chili recipe perfect for winter.
  • Futurevores, I like it.

Those geese can be vicious. When my husband was little, one bit his backside and chased him for a block. The goose must have had babies and he disturbed her. I live in Florida and I have a great plant based restaurant nearby. I had spaghetti squash there the other day for the first time this season.. I love seeing plant-based meals and that spicy tofu looks amazing.

They can be and they will stand their ground! That’s great, I lived in Florida for 18 years and amazed at the plant based options showing up when we go back to visit.

All the food pics in this post are making me hungry! And the geese. So cute! There are so many geese at my kids school and they always come home with geese poop on their sneakers, LOL!

The geese are cute and funny, though I think facilities is getting tired of pressure washing the walkways after them – haha.

This month always does go by in a flash, but it seems like you’re making the most of it! Definitely be careful of those geese… They can be crazy territorial and surprisingly aggressive!

It really does fly by, but sounds like you are too. And yes, the geese can be and seemed to have claimed the open space between work buildings to give us obstacles, haha.
