Miko was not happy with me on this dressing recipe, he didn’t understand why I wouldn’t share.
Don’t worry, I shared plenty of carrots and beans with him. But this recipe packs raw garlic which is not good for dogs. But powerfully good for humans compared to cooked garlic. It also has raw ginger and turmeric for a delicious summery flare, it’s creamy, tangy, and is oil and sugar free.
Super Lemon Ginger Turmeric Dressing
- 2 tbsp. tahini
- one small carrot, chopped
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1” chunk of fresh ginger
- 2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp. miso paste
- ¼ cup water, as needed
- pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy! Makes 4 servings.
The color screams summer and a cool meal salad hits the spot in our triple digit summer heat. The kicky flavor pairs well with beans, sauerkraut, and chopped apple for a complete salad.
And I just love the color with vibrant spinach.
The creamy texture coats with flavor nicely, but isn’t heavy or greasy.
Make a meal salad coated with this superfood dressing part of your vibrant summer.

I’m usually pretty leery of raw garlic, but I trust your judgement… Certainly sounds like it’s worth a try!

Me too, raw garlic can be very strong. But it works in this dressing with ginger while the carrot and tahini counter and pair with it nicely.
