We have made it through another busy week. Well, a busy week of sleeping, snacking, and going on walks for Miko. And enjoying his new bed thanks to my sister’s cat not approving of it.

And got to the movie’s this weekend to indulge in a guilty pleasure, Jackass Forever. What a treat to laugh ridiculously after a a crazy busy week.

Also many walks to check out our neighborhood chickens.
We got out to Revolution Winery to celebrate my sister’s birthday where I could appreciate sipping wine with lunch while indulging on Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, Veggie Hash, Mediterranean Salads, and an excellent vegan Beyond Burger.

The rest of my eats were less inspired with more salads and simple sautés.

There was also Trader Joe’s Vegan Meatless Meat Eater’s Pizza with added olives and artichoke hearts for a fun dinner at home.

And a loaded broccoli slaw salad with homemade carrot ginger miso dressing that Mike was very ready to share.
Sunday already facing another busy week ahead. Weekends fly by too fast lately. But hoping for a good weekend ahead for us starting with the list.
- Best vegan protein powders.
- Is going vegan enough?
- New vegan skincare brand at Target.
- 5 cheesy vegan recipes.
- Sustainable vegan snacks.
- So many vegan cheese alternatives now. Life is good.
- Guide to vegan meal prep.
- Create a vegan capsule wardrobe.
- There’s a Vegan Women Summit in LA in April.
- Going net zero at home.
I enjoy all of your posts but I have to say that Miko’s tongue stole the show on this one! SO CUTE!
I’m envious of both your meals at home and at restaurants! Makes my usual food seem so boring. Glad to see Miko enjoying his new bed, too. What a sweetie.
Ah, nothing on your site is boring! But I hear ya, my go tos seem to always be the same comfort dishes.
The chickens in your neighborhood are so cute! They are banned here, we just can’t have them no matter how much my daughter begs. I haven’t been to the movie’s in years~ nothing ever works out but I do want to see that new Agatha Christie movie.
That’s unfortunate on the chickens! We were thinking about adding rescued chickens to our backyard. Yes, it’s been nice getting back to theaters.
Happy belated birthday to your sister! Looks like such a fun, and delicious, celebration!
Thanks! :-)
