As you know, Miko loves heat this time of year and would be happy to live in front of a fireplace or space heater.
Warm and comforting is good, especially for the winter! So is spicy heat, I tend to prefer spicier foods with warming flare more during the winter – hot curries, hot chili, etc. – bring it. This dressing is loaded with sriracha heat combined with the bright and tangy flavors of balsamic vinegar and playful sweetness from raisins. But no sugar or oil, only whole fats from hemp seeds and a whole food sweet source,
Simple Sriracha Dressing
- 3-5 tsp. sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp. miso paste
- ¼ cup shelled hemp seeds
- handful of raisins
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- ½ cup water, as needed
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth texture. Serve and enjoy, makes 4 servings.
The color us a warm yellow/brown, perfect for the winter and great for coating a massaged kale meal salad with chopped veggie burger.
This dressing has heat and plenty of it. And you can have fun adding as much sriracha heat as you want to bring life to a healthy salad.
Stay vibrant and warm with this winter dressing.

If there’s one ingredient I always have in the house, it’s sriracha, so this dressing could become a new staple for me!
