Sweet Leela has been very clingy lately following me around the house more and restlessly wondering. Maybe she’s bored, maybe the heat is getting to her, or maybe she just wants more attention.
Or more broccoli and carrots because suddenly she’s a huge fan of them too now. You’ll want more of this comforting and smokey ranch dressing. It’s creamy, savory, tangy, rich, and free of oil or cream.
Smokey Hemp Seed Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cup of shelled hemp seeds
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp. liquid smoke (or to taste)
- ½ cup water, as needed
- salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy! Makes 4 servings.
I coated an interesting salad with romaine, sprouts, chopped veggie burger, corn, and carrots with it.
And it coated perfectly with a creamy and smokey fresh herb flavor.
Meal salads can be delicious and satisfying with this decadent, yet healthy dressing.
And a cool salad hits the spot in the summer heat. It’s triple digit heat for us for the next 10+ days here, so the more cool salads the better!
This sounds so good, I love the dill and liquid smoke. Leela is as cute as she always is.
Thanks! :-)
