I gave up on the Cozy Cave beds for the chihuahuas, they just could not get used to the idea of crawling into the cave part and pouted about not having comfy walls the snuggle in when the cave cover was removed. Sheesh, picky and spoiled they are! I got them two OrthoComfort Deep Dish Cuddler beds to try and the customer images for this bed on Amazon are adorable!
Miko had no problem snuggling into it.
Leela was not sure about it at first.
But she snuggled so deeply into it later that you could barely see her ears sticking up.
I know, they’re spoiled! Hopefully we’ll be able to peacefully watch TV without Leela pouting about not having a blanket or way to burrow into her bed now!
I spoiled myself with this huge salad and decadent cheddar-like hemp dressing for dinner. It’s loaded with shelled hemp seeds, raw garlic, lemon juice, and turmeric – all winning ingredients for health and making a dressing that tastes more like a splurge than health food.
Hemp Cheddar Dressing
- 1/2 cup shelled hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tsp. tamari
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- sash of cayenne (optional)
- 1/3 cup water, as needed
- salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy! Makes 4 servings.
It may not have a cheddar-like color, but it does have a creamy and rich texture.
Perfect for coating a hearty salad with a variety of greens, kidney beans, and vegan bacon bits.
It’s savory, creamy, and makes a salad much more of a satisfying meal.
And a fun way to enjoy more veggies!
Yum anything with nutritional yeast is tasty! Adding turmeric is good to fight inflammation. Looks good :-)
Thanks and very true! :-)
Your fur babies are adorable! And that hemp cheddar dressing looks soooo tasty!
Thanks, they are so sweet and spoiled. :-) And thanks on the dressing.
