We are ready for Friday here, poor Miko has been following me around the house for more play time.
And Smokey would like to remind me that it’s cat box sterilization time again this weekend.
One more thing for my chore list. After a busy day, I treated myself to a hearty dessert this week and excuse to play with more Sunwarrior products. This decadent chocolate soft serve is really a nutritional super food which is my kind of dessert.
Peppermint Chocolate Super Soft Serve
- 1 serving of Sunwarrior Classic Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 serving of Sunwarrior Ormus Supergreens Peppermint Powder
- 2 cups frozen banana slices
- 1/2 cup almond milk, or as needed for desired texture
- 2 tbsp. cacao powder
- 3 pitted medjool dates or stevia powder to taste
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy! Makes 1-2 servings.
The peppermint flavor on the Ormus Supergreens powder is there, but not super strong which is nice too.
It added a mild and refreshing pop to this chocolate dessert.
I tend to like soft serve ice cream soft and hitting a thicker ice cream texture in a blender can be tough. But you could also skip the almond milk in this recipe and use a food processor instead of a blender for a thicker ice cream texture. I rarely break out the food processor on a week night though, it’s not fun to wash after a long day. It’s more of a weekend kitchen tool for us.
The flavor is a rich and smooth dark chocolate with a slight refreshing peppermint blended through and surprisingly sweeter than I thought this recipe would be. Go ahead, splurge on a super food chocolate treat!

Very cool! I’m planning to try that Sunday in a smoothie before a long run.

Chocolate and peppermint is my favorite combination ever ~ but I rarely indulge because it’s not not all that healthy. How inspirational! I’ll have so check out Sunwarrior products, they are new to me. More cat pics in the future, haha!!!

Mine too, it was my favorite ice cream flavor as a kid and thankfully there are great vegan options for it today! Sure in the cat pics. :-)
