Sorry, but photos provided by my iPhone and point-and-shoot camera for this post. It was that kind of day week, a mind-frying one at work. I do have a new addiction – the Instagram app for the iPhone. It’s a simple app that lets you take picture with the iPhone’s camera, apply one of the fun preset filters to it and share it. It allows me to try and get creative with color and composition… even with the weak iPhone camera, and get fun feedback on the photo. Plus I’ve been having a blast following other posters admiring their creativity. If you have an iPhone and enjoy photography, try it out. And follow me, therawproject. :-)
Some of my pictures from this week:
And finally the bottle of wine hubby and I shared with dinner tonight – Frog’s Leap Zinfandel, on a relaxing date night after our hectic week.
A better picture from my point-and-shoot.
One of my favorite zins currently.
And my favorite dinner date. :-)
At one of our favorite restaurants – Paul Martin’s American Bistros.
And my favorite mushroom burger.
That I will recreate soon at home, I’m on a mission!
But not tonight since I’m wiped after this week and can only think about sleeping in tomorrow. Happy Friday!
Love the instagrams, particularly the animal pics. I prefer the softness of the artistic interpretation to the hard clarity of standard photos, no matter how great the technique/ composition. Go you with the creativity!
Now if only I could get my greyhound to shrink to chihuahua size, my sofa/ personal space would be a lot emptier.
Love the recipes and impressed by the prolific blogging.
i love IG!! and ive been enjoying following you, too!
ok so tell me, when did your addiction start? did i have anything to do with it? :)
I started getting into a about a month ago, but didn’t check it much since I couldn’t find a lot of friends to follow yet. Your post helped renew my interest in it. :-) I love browsing through the popular pics too, a lot of talent and creativity for just using the iPhone!
gosh, we have to get that app, everyone has it :)
Yum – cherries, whole foods salad, and kombucha :)
Happy weekend!
