Today has been very uneventful, I’ve just been relaxing at home, working out, watching TV and eating and it’s been wonderful after a busy week and an evening out tonight. Our cats have even gotten into the relaxing action taking up the couch.
And spending lots of time in our laps.
I did try another non-smoothie breakfast this morning, I decided to cook oatmeal since I had the time.
In it I mixed a couple of tablespoons of Trader Joe’s peanut flour, a smashed banana and two stevia packets for an interesting breakfast.
It was a great combo, moist peanut butter and banana flavors with a smooth, creamy texture. I’m actually cutting my peanut intake down a lot and once this package of peanut flour is gone, I’ll be experimenting more with almond flour. But, I couldn’t resist trying it in oatmeal and it was pretty good.
For lunch, I decided to keep it light and broke out Ani’s Raw Food Kitchen for one of my favorite recipes – Rosemary Guacamole.
Perfect since I had a few avocados to use up, I just served it with zucchini and carrot sticks and snacked on Sun Warrior protein popcorn after for lunch.
Odd lunch, I know. But hey, it’s a lazy whatever kind of day! :-)
