Spicy Kimchi Dressing

August 16, 2017 by christine

Fall must be near because it’s been chilly enough to need a jacket for our morning dog walks this week. Exciting! And Miko would rather hide in his pile of blankets than step outside.

This dressing will warm you up with fiery and creamy flare thanks to a fun product hubby found at Costco – Wildbrine Spicy Sriracha Kimchi in a squeezable format.

This stuff is perfect to add flare to wraps, veggie dogs, and to squirt into a blender for a kicky, probiotic dressing.

Spicy Kimchi Dressing

  • 2 tbsp. Spicy kimchi (or more)
  • 1 tbsp. Miso paste
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup water, as needed

Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy! Makes 4-6 servings.

I love that hemp seed based dressings take on the perfect creamy texture for coating with flavor.

This dressing offers the perfect amount of heat to be playful, passionate, and warming. But not painful or overriding the flavor.

Make a salad exciting with this simple dressing.

Spicy! I like kimchi a lot, as I also love other fermented foods. My friend told me most women do not like kimchi, but most men do. Guess it ain’t true for us!

Me too and my sisters and mom aren’t so into spicy foods. I’m finding I like them more as I get older.

Love the idea of a probiotic dressing! And yes, you are right about fall coming but I’m kind of excited too even though it hasn’t been warm here, it’s humid and sticky oddly enough because it rains constantly this summer.

Yes, hints of fall are starting to show up here – displays in stores, temp Halloween shops and soon Apple Hill – exciting, bring on the pumpkin spice. :-)

After all of the 100 degree days you’ve had this summer I can only imagine how refreshing those cool mornings must feel.

Your Costco is so much better than mine. I can never find the things you do.

Yes it is, but we’re getting more 100 degree days this week – boo.

Thanks on the Costco, ours is also the most crowded in the region which can make weekend trips interesting.

That Sriracha looks pretty awesome! I remember seeing one or two things from that company but haven’t tried them yet!

It’s delicious and great for veggie dogs too.
