Popping in with a quick post from Thanksgiving, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a small, casual day at our house with my parents and Miko took to my dad’s lap.
Then fought for my mom’s lap with Leela and her dog.
And got a little tired of being french kissed by my mom’s dog who is a big kisser!
We started with Miyoko’s Winter Truffle cashew “cheese” and flat bread crackers for starters.
Just wow and it disappeared fast!
Hubby sweetly handled all of the food prep while I chatted with my parents.
But I did prepare the raw vegan pumpkin pie the night before.
I splurged at Whole Foods on lots of vegan Thanksgiving products to try, the vegan stuffing was simple and fast to prepare and my mom made the vegan green been casserole recipe from Peas and Thank You.
I also grabbed the Field Roast Vegan Celebration Roast to try this year for non-vegan family to taste test.
And had a loaded Thanksgiving meal!
Thumbs up for the Celebration Roast, it’s very filling and hearty. The Whole Foods vegan stuffing is tasty with a nice texture. The mushroom gravy was a little wishy washy, but still good. And we plan to relax and play the rest of the long weekend!

Thanks and agreed! :-) My mom’s dog loves french kissing both of our dogs, but they don’t! :-P
