We’re having a relaxing Sunday morning here, Leela is parked in her favorite mushroom bed in the office with me.
And Miko is snugly stuffed in his bed.
It could be 100+ degrees outside and he still loves burying himself in a blanket!
It is Sunday Runday again at Runkeeper where you can get 20% off at Saucony for tracking a 30+ minute running activity at with Runkeeper. Last time I used it on a pair of Women’s Bullet Capri pants which have been awesome at the gym for holding cell phones, the pockets on the side are big enough for an iPhone 6.
I’m spoiled by these style capris too, I will only buy ones with cell phone pockets now! My other favorites are Lucy Pocket Capri Leggings, not cheap, but worth it for long runs.
Eats have been a little plain this week, lots of smoothies, salads, and oil free stir fries with a lot going on at work. I threw together this fast salad yesterday with a yellow cucumber from our garden, rainbow carrots, and chopped tempeh seasoned with nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, and dill for a tangy fun summer blend.
We had a casual dinner at my sister’s house last night where I threw together a quick oil free stir fry with brown rice, organic chopped frozen spinach, tempeh, and frozen broccoli seasoned with tamari and hot sauce.
Simple and quick for a hearty one pot meal. And I’m motivating myself to head out for my Sunday Runday currently! But first the news list.

We’ve been eating very plain this week too, it’s just been to hot to cook, lots of vegetables just raw because it’s too hot to steam them. So cute you ate the cucumber from your garden, yay =) And rainbow carrots are so tasty and look so pretty in every recipe, agreed!!! Your dogs remind me of mine, they just hang out in their little dog beds lazing around all day.

Agreed on being too hot, we’re supposed to be in triple digits all week with highs around 110! :-( Cold salads and raw recipes this week. :-)

Lol! Coco loves to bury herself under her blanket too. So cute!
Great links, Christine. I love Russell Simmons, I’ve seen him in interviews and he schools those who try and make excuses for eating animal products.
I LOVE those running pants! I’m going to order a couple today. :)

Seriously awesome pants! I swear, I would work out more often if only I could take my phone with me. It’s silly, but I find it impossible to really wear any bottoms that lack pockets. Clearly, I’ve just been shopping in the wrong places. I’m checking these out!

Agreed on pockets, it’s a must for phones and I’m sometimes having to carry two during a workout if I’m on call for work!
