Congrats to WIAW turning 50 posts old! And congrats to me for remembering to snap everything today to participate!

Followed by mid-morning tea at my desk.
Lunch: Leftover balsamic spinach wrap from last night and a giant pear, followed by snacking on some raw walnuts.
Snack: Five mini oranges from our backyard which made my cube smell wonderful.
Dinner: I tried something new and daring for dinner, a pate using raw tempeh. Usually I cook tempeh, but wondered why when raw contains more vitamins and probiotics. And I’m a little leery of the high fat content in nut and seed-based raw pates, much more fat than protein. So I decided to try my first raw tempeh pate using an experimental recipe.
Raw tempeh in a food processor makes a great nutty pate, recipe coming soon after some tweaking.
I mixed the pate into a salad and dressed it with liquid aminos and nutritional yeast.
For a simple raw salad bowl dinner.
I like the idea of using raw tempeh as a pate or hummus base and need to explore this more.
Of course dessert was Candy Cane Balls right out of the freezer for a little pre-run pick-me-up. :-)
Raw balls, those red chopsticks and blue bowl, and your nori wrap..want them all :)
what a great idea to use tempeh in a pate! love this ;)
I love eating with chopsticks – thanks for the reminder!
