But festive flavors can be found in simple, whole food recipes too! Here’s another simple and warming winter salad dressing that is sweet and savory, creamy and kicky.
Creamy Cumin Orange Dressing
- 1 Tangerine, peeped
- 1/4 cup of shelled hemp seeds
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 tsp. of cumin seed
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. tamari or soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend to a smooth and creamy texture. Serve and enjoy. Makes 4 servings.
The dressing has a warm color with creamy smooth texture.
