I’m so glad this week is over! And really looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow even if it’s only to 7:30 AM. And having some relaxing time at home with this little goof who is so terrified of my little point-and-shoot camera, but will pose and get all cutesy for our DSLR.
Either she hasn’t figured out it’s a camera yet or just has very good taste in cameras.
Can’t blame her, I’d like to only use the DSLR if I could lug it with a few lenses around all day.
I can relate.
After a week of many kitchen cleans and a huge trip to Costco in 100 degree heat, I was feeling pretty burned out on food today opting for smoothies for breakfast and lunch. Perfect way to leave time for a little shopping during my lunch break, I needed some new shorts for weekend adventures. Especially after noticing my hiking shorts from Monday weren’t that flattering on me.
Guess I can’t expect perfection for a few dollars off the Target clearance rack years ago, but trying to find shorts that are a flattering length for me isn’t easy. They’re either too long and awkwardly shaped, or too short and pinching in unflattering places. Luckily Old Navy had a pair I liked that are in the wash to be ready for a picnic tomorrow – can’t wait!
Dinner was equally lazy, we went to our local favorite Thai restaurant for Thai beer.
And I got something new, a spicy tofu glass noodle dish that was fabulous with snow peas, tomatoes, and onions.
It was a nice, relaxing way to end the week, we chatted about our dream retirement locations and more realistic retirement locations. Yes, we’ve been watching a lot of House Hunters International lately. :-)
