Ah, I love quiet weekend mornings with a green monster in front of a warm laptop. :-) My weekend is going great so far, but as usual I have aggressive plans of what I want to accomplish in the short 2 days that include trying a new chocolate cake recipe that popped into my head while on the elliptical 2 nights ago, trying Gena’s amazing looking Lucky Hemp Bread recipe, breaking in my new running shoes, selling some jewelry that’s been sitting unworn for years and lots of house cleaning and organizing.
Great post from Kristen’s Raw on trampoline aerobic benefits. I’m trying to make a class once a week and really enjoy them, great stress reliever and still one of the best workout sessions I’ve ever done. Be prepared to sweat a lot if you go to a class! I can definitely agree with all the benefits listed. When I first tried the class a year ago, I thought I was in pretty good shape – not so much! So many little muscles around my abs and in my legs were killing me! Now, the class is not painful at all, but it goes to show how many muscles are worked doing different moves while continually bouncing in a trampoline court.
Lunch yesterday was another leftover creation that worked well.
I started with a layer of fresh spinach, added my basil nut broccoli on one side and the pate I created the other night on the other side, then layered on two kinds of sprouts and garnished with some sweet peppers and had a dish of Gena’s Carrot Miso dressing on the side. It was a very flavorful and filling salad creation!
Good thing I packed in so many veggies for lunch because dinner did not have as much as I usually like. :-) We decided to try a new sushi place in town where I ordered the vegetable udon soup.
Sorry, iPhone camera not work so well in dark restaurants, I did what I could in Paint.NET to salvage. But, the soup just had zucchini, cabbage, shredded nori and mushrooms for the “veggies” – pfffft! It was a good soup and I am a sucker for Japanese udon noodles occasionally.
