Hi and TGIF! I’m ready to end this week, but I’ve got a pretty busy weekend planned including more trampoline aerobics Saturday, attending a raw dinner hosted by my favorite raw instructor Saturday night and plenty of new raw recipes to prepare for a Super Bowl party, no buffalo wings and potato chips for me! So tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing after a Trader Joe’s shopping trip. And by relaxing, I mean playing in the kitchen with raw recipes! :-)
I packed a quick lunch to have at my desk today before running errands.
There’s a smoothie I made this morning in the Clean Kanteen containing tomato, broccoli, carrots, red pepper and cilantro making for a good veggie soup. This was the first time I packed a smoothie for work and I like the concept, but will need a bigger bottle next time as it almost didn’t fit in my cute little 18 oz. one! Though I love that size for keeping water in my purse. I was worried that the smoothie would separate and get funky sitting in the bottle for a few hours before consuming, but nope. It made a good, drinkable garden veggie soup. The Ginger Snap Larabar is awesome! First time I had that flavor and it was great, moist, rich and perfect level of ginger flavor.
When I got home, I found my new book arrived from Amazon!
Kristen Suzanne’s Ultimate Raw Vegan Hemp Recipes … jeez that’s a long title! Can’t wait to try recipes from it even though I won’t have much time to this weekend!
